The pack, counted: processes, clients, SOPs and steps

Five processes with a base SOP each and a variant for each of three clients is 20 SOPs, and at 12 steps each it is 240 steps. Counting the pack before writing it is how a client onboarding gets a realistic date; the worksheet returns both figures so the scope is a number before it is a document.

Training, in hours and per person

A procedure is a control only once the people on the floor have been trained on it. 12 people at four minutes a step over 240 steps is 192 hours in total and 16 hours a person, which is two shifts each before the pack is live. The minutes a step is your own figure from your own training; the worksheet publishes none.

Reviews a year: the commitment a pack makes

Every SOP carries a review date, and 20 SOPs on a six-month cycle is 40 reviews a year, most of them small. The paid plan keeps each SOP with its version and next review against the client so the reviews arrive as reminders rather than as a client's audit finding.
