Every figure on this page is computed from the inputs entered, by the method stated below it. Pickpathly publishes no industry benchmark, no vendor price beyond the ones it cites and no rule: the standard, the utilisation and the fees are yours, and the defaults are a worked example to replace with your own figures.
The figures above start from a worked example ($6.40). Change any input and the answer updates as you type.

This is a warehouse management reports worksheet that turns a week's totals into the figures a client account is judged on. Lines picked over labour hours is lines an hour; orders shipped over labour hours is orders an hour; labour hours times a loaded rate is the week's labour cost and over orders it is the cost per order; dock hours over receipts is dock-to-stock; and clean locations over locations counted is inventory accuracy. Every figure is yours; the worksheet publishes no benchmark and no target. Free, on the page, no account; the paid plan keeps every week's report against the client so the trend is a column.
Productivity: lines an hour and orders an hour
5,400 lines and 1,800 orders in 480 labour hours is 11.25 lines an hour and 3.75 orders an hour. Both matter: a client with many lines an order pays for lines, a client with one line an order pays for orders, and the same week reads differently for each. The worksheet shows both so the report fits the client's rate card.
Cost: the week's labour and the cost per order
480 hours at a loaded $24 an hour is $11,520 of labour for the week, and over 1,800 orders it is $6.40 an order, which is the figure to set beside the handling rate the client pays. The loaded rate is your own figure including on-costs; the worksheet publishes none.
Service and accuracy: dock-to-stock and clean locations
780 dock hours over 260 receipts is three hours a receipt from the truck to a scanned location, and 392 clean locations of 400 counted is 98% accuracy. Both are the figures a client's audit asks for, and the paid plan keeps them week by week against the client so a slipping figure is visible before the audit.
Warehouse management reports: common questions
What should a warehouse management report contain?
The week's productivity (lines an hour, orders an hour), cost (labour for the week and per order), service (dock-to-stock time) and accuracy (clean locations over counted), per client, against last week. The worksheet works those from your totals; the record that keeps them week by week is Pickpathly Pro.
What is a good lines-per-hour figure for a small warehouse?
Your own last week's figure, improved: pick rates depend on the order profile, the slotting, the pick path and the equipment, and a number from another building says nothing about yours. The worksheet works your figure from your totals and publishes no benchmark.
Is there a free warehouse management reports worksheet?
Yes. The warehouse management reports worksheet on this site is free and needs no account: orders, lines, labour hours, a loaded rate, receipts, dock hours, locations counted and variances in, lines an hour, orders an hour, labour cost, cost per order, dock-to-stock and accuracy out, printed as it stands. Pickpathly Pro keeps every week's report against the client.
